The Black Country’s most famous sporting star is being honoured by a new trophy in his name. Contested by players aged under 15s, the Duncan Edwards Challenge Trophy aims to reward young talent as Edwards himself was a prolific schoolboy footballer and county representative. DUNCAN'S COUSIN PRESENTS MUG TO ARCHIVE COLLECTION
A special limited edition Duncan Edwards bone china mug has been presented to the Duncan Edwards Archive Collection. Betty Cooksey, who is Duncan’s cousin and his closest living relative, commissioned 50 of the commemorative mugs to be distributed to family, close friends and former team-mates.
